Over the last quarter, Kasatria has had the opportunity to work with many players in entertainment & media industry in Malaysia. A key challenge faced by our client was the fact they were unable to track how their customers interacted across all their online channels.

Track Visitors Across Multiple Domains

Our first task was setting up Google Analytics to track all of their websites under a single account, using a technique called cross-domain tracking. This allowed us to have a bird’s eye view on activities throughout all their portals.

Observe Visitor Flow

We then looked abit deeper to identify how users tend to use the sites, and what areas of interest they seem to be drawn to. We then segmented visitors by demographics and interest.

Correlate Content Genre by Interest

In order to evaluate whether or not to feature a topic in a given touchpoint, we suggested for the client to weigh the statistical probability of a visitor from a certain demographic having an interest in a particular topic.

Analyze and Optimize Future Campaigns

Using these insights together with their schedule of digital content and campaigns allowed them to make decisions more effectively, and this lead to an increase in visitor engagement across all of their online media.
